Hiked up Grouse Mountain today, I thought I did much worse then last year at 1 hour 21 minutes but I only lost 4 minutes this year EXIF data in my pictures said I completed it in 1 hour 25 minutes.
My shorts held me back, I felt I could not get a good stride because of them. Also, I did take nearly 4 weeks off to let my leg heal.
We did spend more time up there this year then we did last year, we got a chance to go up the chair lifts, I am glad we did, it was an awesome view.
Next year I want to beat 1 hour.
Anyway, good news is that this was the last activity this season, unfortunately, I do have that off season 1/2 marathon run.
If I stick with my normal training, I start up again in 2 weeks.
Oh well better enjoy.
