This was due last week, but only now have I had time to fill this out.
I have several goals to make
- For the upcoming 1/2 Marathon I would like to be under 245lbs.
- By end of year I would like to be under 240lbs
- and by the time training for the Rock and Roll marathon starts I would like to be 225lbs
- Finally in May I would like to be under 210lbs
That means I have to lose over 50lbs in 7 months. That will mean I have to lose 2lbs a week, a safe weight loss rate, but certainly challenging. That means a 1000 calorie a day deficit.
At 263 lbs my Basal Metabolic Rate is over 2300, so sticking to a 2000 calorie diet will get me a loss of 300 automatically, add to that a 3mile run and 1 mile walk and it should do it.
I figure the various walking I do throughout the day will make the 1 mile I need each day, which brings me to running 21 miles a week.
I will not try to make it this week but will look to trying it next week. If all works out, I should be well under 260 after next week Saturday’s long run.
In order to make this goal I will need to add couple two a day workouts like I did yesterday.
Couple things I have to do
- No Late Night Snacking
- Reduce my Sugar Drink Consumption
- Coffee – Black (hmm may save money too)
- Drink Water
I want to keep my Thursday a rest day (just 1 mile run and 1 mile walk)
