Personal Trainer Worried I am gaining Weight

I worked out with my personal trainer today, last one for a bit because she is moving off of her Friday schedule.

She is worried about my weight gain, cause it is getting worse.

I agree, she enlightened me on a two things, regarding weight gain and sleep.

  1. When you are tired from lack of sleep your body wants to energy (carbs) so begin to crave food.  Hence the mightnight cravings.
  2. When you don’t get sleep, you tend be too tired to be motivated to work out.

Totally agree on these points.  I think before I can lose weight I need to get a handle on sleep.  After sleep I can work on weight loss.

Going on a business trip to vmworld.  Maybe it is an opportunity to see if I can reset my sleep patterns.
