Lukewarm End of Year Finale

I can’t really classify that the year ended off with a wimper, but for the most part it did.  What disqualifies it was the huge server problems I had today.

My main ESXi server kept crashing, I tried reseating the RAM but my Ultimate Boot CD still failed on memory checks.  Finally tried reseating the CPU and while I was at it, I added some thermal compound and that seemed to do the trick.

What made this adventure exciting was it coincided with a failed hard drive in another ESXi host.

I was able to back up the data but not the host.  Will take another stab at VM recovery tomorrow.

At work it was super quiet, we all had a little get together, but for the most part it was dead.  I had a few things on my list to do.

When I got home I did run (yay) finished off the year right, just 1/2 a lap and it was a tough half.  But I got it done.

I also posted my goals for 2015, almost a mirror of 2014 and 2013.  Honestly, I did not do much reflection on what needed to be done.  So it may be bad that I have no real direction for next year.  We will see though, I will revisit this list after January.

Now to enjoy the New Year’s Celebration!!!
