Finally got my garage door sensor working.
This actually sits on the floor and not on the ceiling. I still need to seal the holes around the sensor, also I it is doing a web notification and not a MQTT. For now I the web is something I am familiar with.
I ended up having to use a full NodeMCU on two breadboards, and a level shifter.
Seems like a waste, next time I will try a WeMo
Foot still hurting, just doing easy pushups and situps.
