At least I was prepared, but this storm was nothing. It was wet, but it was OK, we survived.
Earlier in the day it was raining, windy too, but at night it was really mild. It didn’t feel bad at all.
Earlier in the day my file server was performing slow and /proc/mdstat was showing some activity. In the end it ended up being the monthly scrub. But it got me worried that if I replaced the disk and it started rebuilding, that a power outage would screw my files.
Got me thinking about going to ZFS instead of a Linux software RAID. May do it, but there are a bunch of services on here that I need to maintain.
Maybe a new server in the future.
