With the boom in housing prices, I decided to see about what I could do if I refi the house.
Talk about not seeing how sausage is made, there is a lot of ugly when looking at housing.
First off, my taxes, whoa, I didn’t know I was paying so much.
Next was my home insurance, I don’t think I am getting enough coverage.
Finally, had to learn about flood plains, thankfully I am not in a “Special Flood Hazard Area”. Apparently I am in an X zone which does not require additional insurance.
