I am putting it through its paces. The latest problem is that is seems to fall asleep and cannot connect.
I disabled power save and am running the daemon.
What is a bummer is that if it comes up, it does not automatically start.
I first want to go through couple overnight tests.

I been going nuts with the errors I was getting on my pi LTE module, called T-Mobile support and reached out to a friend who worked at T-Mobile as well.
It “should” work.
I knew I had an antenna, I kind of tore the house up looking for it, in the process I set myself up for some weekend cleaning.
I did find it though, and adding it without a reboot fixed it. So we will see long term.
On another note, I got gammu working, simple daemon (unfortunately running as root). I think all you got to do as insert your SMS messages into the mariadb database.
Got a nice stack for the pi going. Not sure if that will be the final.

I am done with this gen of the PLUS model, still working on the normal model.

So the software I discovered was the called gammu, but I am getting some connectivity problems. Every so often it would drop off line

I did something new with my 3d printer, I am printing on a glass plate. First try did not go well, poor adhesion, put some glue on and we will see.

Of all things to happen, I was about to finish putting together the faceplate for the production Message board plus when the faceplate slid off the table.
When it landed on the floor, the four standoffs holding the LCD display sheared off.
The only saving grace it was the 3d print face, and I can simply reprint a new one.
Won’t be done till tomorrow. So so close to calling it complete though.
On the new Last Man project, I think I figured out the SMS problem, also found some tips online and a daemon to use.

Regarding my nagios pi box, got all the parts, I can get it a least all together to do logic testing.
Got nagios running today, and will get the phone thing working soon too. Maybe tomorrow.
That is not all I completed today, got the new 3d printer enclosure, yes it does make a difference.

Cleaned up a bit, but did not finish. Tomorrow going to do more cleaning but I also want to finish my message box plus dev.

Almost got all the pieces, I know I got all the major components.
The relay should be coming in soon, which would complete all the electronic components. I may opt for a Voltage Regulator.
Going to play with the POTS side of things tomorrow.
Then I need the GPIO and I2C stuff going.
Should have decent functionality before weekends over.
Speaking of functionality, I did get the SMS going with the LTE device.

Got my LTE board and installed in on my Pi
Kind of cool, couple things, I had to connect the USB connection to make both the tty and the NIC appear.
I do not intend to send out traffic out of the LTE other than SMS messages.
I used minicom on /dev/ttyACM0 and was able to send an SMS message
But as of this post, I am not sure what I did, I was not able to send another message.

I have all the major parts in that drawing except for the LTE unit. That is expected to come in tomorrow.

Adding another project to my list of things I am working on. It was a Raspberry Pi based monitoring, that will be the last host standing in the event of a power outage.
Today was the first time installing Rocky 9 on a Raspberry Pi 4. Amazingly it worked. I can now use the commands I am familiar with to manage it. I few ansible scripts did not even need to be tweaked.
Also got a 4 channel relay going as well. Did some work in the cleaned up garage.
Printed a case for my message box project as well.

Wow, got a lot of things in place. I would say our home is in a good place, not really clean, but functional again.
I feel like taking another week off to organize the house more. So much progress.
