Workout Conundrum

I had a good workout today, starting to feel my body getting back into shape, but I am at a weird point in my training.

Normally, I would start my slide gradually into the offseason.  This is a time when I reduce my workout and fall into some sort of maintenance mode where I workout just enough to keep my weight steady.

Well things are different this time around, my body absolutely needs rest, in April I ran the Seahawk 12k, in June the 1/2 Marathon, in July the Warrior Dash and Seafair Torchlight 5k with capping it all of in August with a hike up Grouse Mountain.

But I want to work out.  I think I will spend the rest of the week planning my new training.

Maybe this is a good thing, because every year something happens to me (gout and a cold) so this may keep me out of that cycle.
