Easing Into My Workout Schedule

I thought today was a good day in the gym.  I feel like I am gaining my normal speed back.  I was running at 6MPH for most of the 1/2 hour treadmill run.

Unfortunately, I did not average 6MPH but instead averaged 5.8 over the main run.  My goal is to get to 6MPH average over the main run for 1/2 an hour around mid September.

Hopefully I can push it to average 6.6MPH for 2 hours on real pavement.

That translates to a < 2 hour run for the 1/2 marathon.

We’ll see, I need to watch my diet as well.  Still in the planning stages but it is a start.
