I got my USB3 and SSD drive put together and I tried it on a Pi. Kept disconnecting, I did some research and found the B+ versions need the firmware updated.
I did the two commands
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
But I also had to do
rpi-update
Been sleepy most of the day, I need a good sleep tonight.
Also adding max_usb_current=1 to /boot/cmdline.txt is needed.
Just doing pushups and situps. Too tired.
