I am trying to switch 12v using my ESP8266. The ESP8266 pushes only 3.3V so I had to use a transistor.
I ordered some IRLZ44N and it seemed kind of weak.
I knew I had a bunch of TIP120 and they would have done the trick but I also knew they were going to get hot.
Then I recall I had some other Mosfets, an IRLB8721, it worked. Although I may have fried a couple during handling, I guess they are static sensitive.
