Finally figured out how to compile ffmpeg on CentOS 7, most of my old instructions worked, but the normal version of gcc did not work for me, had to use a compat version.
Another thing is that libfaac support was removed.
Will document how I installed it.
It really is easier to just install the rpm version from NUC.
