Visual Land V-Clip Pro ME903

I have been using this MP3 player for a week now, to replace my Sansa Clip which a love so dearly.

Anyway, I purchased this Friday at Fry’s Electronics which had it on sale for about $15.00, its pretty cool in that it has an FM Tuner, Micro-SD slot, and the clip seems pretty secure.  The version I got was a 2GB Red one.  But other than the clip, the rest of it feels pretty flimsy compared to my Sansa, the earphones were absolute crap, the display is meager, and the worst part is the controls, it is hard to get used to. Also you can’t do any sort of playlist.  Well maybe there is but I did not find any way.

Pros

  • Cheap
  • Small
  • FM Tuner
  • Micro SD Slot
  • Sturdy Clip
  • Standard USB Connector

Cons

  • Feels like it will break easily
  • Unintuitive Controls
  • No separate Volume
  • No hold
  • Junk headphones
  • No playlist

I give it 2 out of 5 stars… but hey you get what you pay for and if this one lasts me till the next woot.com sale of a decent MP3 player, then it did its job.

Today is a well earned rest day.  I did run a lap as fast as I could though and made record time.

Time: 10:10:48

If I can keep this pace up for two miles then I will pass the Army PT test.  With that said though, it is a run with some hills, so I bet on flat ground I will pass the test.  Also I started my run cold so it took a few before my full breathing was reached.  I should consider a more active warmup routine than just walking to the route.

I am disappointed with my weight, but I still expect a plummet in the next week or so.

Weight: 249.0
