Break Well Worth It

Yesterday I took it easy with only one workout, if you also consider I only worked out once Tuesday, I did not do a two a day this week.

But today it kind of paid off, the blue sky was open around Lake Washington and if you look at the horizon in all directions, there were clouds, the weather was certainly agreeable today.

My intent was to run the usual route and stop at the first boat launch which I think is about the 5 mile mark.  I really had doubts and wanted to quit though, I was thinking to quit right and the turn around point, but I pushed and so glad I did, because I made it all the way in under 1:40 minutes.  Last year on March 3, I did it in 1:34:04, today my total time was 1:38:00, so I do have a chance to beat last year.

Turnaround: 42:46
First Boat Launch: 1:07:21
Genesee: 1:23:44
Total Run: 1:38:00

Breathing was a lot easier, also had the benefit of an EXTREMELY good, deep, long sleep.

My weight seems to be going down too, I think next week it will be under 280.

Weight: 281.0
