Well not new, but used, new in this house.
I went and found a wireless router by chance today. It is a Linksys WRT400N. Most linksys I have worked with have broadcomm chips. They are licked because they can be modded well.
But this WRT400N is based not on Broadcomm but Atheros. They don’t have as many features as a broadcomm chip but they do have excellent stable Radios.
So it will live itself out as strictly an access point. Another Interesting feature is that this unit has a 5Ghz Radio.
Kind of cool because I got it for $5+tax. The cheapest I found one I found on ebay that is working and buy it now was $13.00
