I got another Wyse Thin client today, also got a GB of RAM for it.
I spoke to Gene at the local PC recycle place and he said that the Low density chips work with better with some systems.
Basically, if there are 8 chips to a side, for a 1GB module, it should work, 4 chips, probably not. I am certainly simplifying it but that is certainly what I am seeing.
I am gonna take a stab at Puppy Linux, and see if I can get the thin client to run on 256MB of RAM. It will have to come off a USB flash drive though.
I hit the gym today, got worked, but I lasted. I am learning to dislike stuff that bends my body in half like burpee’s and situps. Hate to say it, but I got to do those things so I don’t avoid them.
