Finally found a way to use nmap to generate a list of hostnames, ips, and mac addresses on my network.
Used
nmap -sn -oN discoveryscan.log 192.168.1.0/24
Then Used some awk grep and sed magic to get the data I want.
Still sticking to my regular workout routine, well tomorrow is huge I got a long one.
